Nestled on campus, this restaurant offers a unique twist on traditional Asian cuisine, drawing comparisons to popular fast-casual chains. While the chicken donburi and miso soup could use improvement, the standout items like the generous japarritos and fresh sushi rolls impress diners with their flavor and portion sizes. Although recent price hikes raise concerns about affordability for students, many patrons appreciate the welcoming service and the excitement of trying something different without sacrificing quality. Overall, this eatery remains a go-to spot for those seeking satisfying and diverse meal options that break the monotony of typical lunch choices.

Was Elizabeth Anderson (Fizzz) at Japarrito a mag?
This is a good place for a unique lunch. Their prices are a bit high but there some good options at around $10 that are good value. The idea really reminded me of Pokerrito, but the flavours are pretty different. I would recommend this place if you are bored of your everyday lunch and want to try something new. : View all feedback.

What Nick dislikes about Japarrito:
The chicken donburi is quite disappointing - it is essentially just boiled chicken with a thin teriyaki sauce. The miso soup is also subpar. On the bright side, they do give you a generous portion of rice. View all feedback.

I tried a Fire Ninja sushi burrito and was pleasantly surprised! It appeared small at first, but it was actually quite satisfying and packed with flavor.

Location: The food at Sfu is incredible, but recently they have significantly increased their prices. I am concerned about how the students will be able to afford dining here. I believe this decision may lead to a decrease in their business, which is unfortunate as the restaurant used to offer delicious food at an affordable price.
