What a great little sushi place. The people are friendly and such great service. We had such great fresh sushi there. Tried some different things and they were all amazing. Love that it is a family owned business as they treat you so great. I would totally recommend this place and I look forward to going back again. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Isami Sushi:
I went there to eat with friends and so disappointed exhausted our food was mixed. The waiter didn't say what record he was serving, then my friend had my food and I can't eat. It should say what the record is... they serve and we waited long before they came and asked what you want to drink. The food is fresh, but the service was just terrible experience. This restaurant does not recommend and will not come back. View all feedback.
Came with a group and got to sample a variety of items for dinner. The soft shell crab was fantastic and still maintained its sweetness. The fish tasted fresh, notably the salmon. I thought the rolls could have been a bit larger; they look tall in the photo, but the fillings didn't extend to the bottom of the rolls. I also thought the BBQ squid could have had a bit more of a char and smokier taste. The BBQ flavour came primarily from the sauce.Overall, it was a good meal. The donburis would be the best deal, with an appetizer or other roll to fill out a meal. Service was great, and the staff consistently came around to refill water/tea. Would come back!
I had great attentive service and good chirashi don. The miso soup was also better than I expected. Nice place; will come again.
We ordered Salmon Mango role, California role, Rainbow role, and Dinamit role. They were all amazing and fresh, the staff were polite and friendly, we'll come back again for sure!
This was my beef tataki salad which costed $15…it’s no bigger than a baby’s palm. And they either forgot to give me sauce or it doesn’t come with any. It was tasteless. A photo of someone else’s beef tataki salad from Isami for comparison and mine with a soy sauce packet for size comparison…
Very old school and a whole in the wall, but lovely in that it is away from the mall. The restaurant is a bit run down. But the food felt authentic. Japanese owned I think. Great price for the portions. We spent $60 something for 3 people, including 2 beers!
