Great café with amazing food and drinks! Even though this café has been open since 2020, I only got a chance to try it today. The interior design and atmosphere are fantastic and inviting. The food and drinks are well-priced and delicious. The juniper sandwich is incredible—just as good as any Italian sandwich I’ve had in Italy! I’m quite impressed. The deli meats were juicy and tender, and the bread used is perfect.... View all feedback.
What brigitte cavanagh dislikes about Ambit Cafe:
The coffee was EXCELLENT ? the food was not appealing to me and was very expensive like $15 for a sandwich or an omelette. So I would go back for the coffee only. View all feedback.

Ambit is close to home and it's local and all the more reason I love it. They have lunch specials that are well priced. The young people who serve are not just polite but really care. They answer all questions carefully and that makes the experience even better. There is a lovely new soup everyday and I love the lentil one. If you are looking for coffee and a little snack look no further. There are hearty lunch sandwiches all made fresh and served with a smile. I love the avo tuna and the grilled cheese. I go here often armed with a book. I spend my time reading, writing and enjoying the warmth and the calm atmosphere. This is a place that ticks off many boxes whether you visit alone or with a friend. Enjoy! The owner is often there serving and chatting with all the patrons. Absolutely love it. If you have a sweet tooth, there are lovely Italian pastries to choose from. Yum!!!Wheelchair accessibility: Just roll in and the tables are low enough for comfort
The vibes here are immaculate! Soft jazz, big breezy windows, lots of seating, and the staff are very nice. I had the smoked salmon breakfast sandwich which was excellent, and I would highly recommend this spot to anyone.
Such a cute little cafe tucked inside Kensington Square! Their sandwiches are great and they have an assortment of treats too! They’ve got one of the best dark chocolate mochas in the city. You can work on your laptop here as they’ve got lots of wall outlets!
If you are not a fan of acidic coffee, this place is not for you. I had a latte with banana bread which was followed by treacherous couple hours. I got sick couple times and had a massive headache. I’m not sure if it was the acidity from the coffee, or if the milk was spoilt or the banana bread didn’t sit well with me, but I don’t see myself taking any chances again.I really hate to do this as I’m always on the lookout for new coffee places and this one seemed promising. For context, I drink coffee virtually everyday. Unfortunately, I don’t recommend this cafe.
