I had a team of 30 people in town and we had to find a place for dinner. I came to Jason at Halvorson and he helped coordinate a private space that was perfect for our group. We had a reception area with a private bar and then a sitting dinner in another private room. We had plenty of space, even without the outdoor terrace through rain. What User doesn't like about Halvorson's:
Had a reservation for the inside. Was placed on a tiny backside table that looked like a party room. There was a heater that was very loud. There were mistakes everywhere. They were on the walls and crawl on us and on the table in food and drinks. Terrible experience. Wait till a waiter comes to the table. Eating was good, but not with the threat of all mistakes. I only had the griddled banana bread and coffee but it was outstanding

The space, the food, and the people at Halvorson's are wonderful! I had a welcome drink event for my wedding in the event space at the back of the restaurant in late September 2023, and it was perfect for our group. Jason was great to work with to plan the details leading up to the event. The food was all great, the space is very cool, and the staff was incredible. Would 100% recommend hosting an event at Halvorson's!! Service: Dine in
