Philly's Cheese Steak Shop - Burlingame

The restaurant is new, and the food is fresh and flavorful. The cheese steak sandwich is absolutely amazing!

I was really impressed with their Philly cheesesteak. I highly recommend it!

The staff was friendly, and there was a great selection of cheesesteak sandwiches. As someone from the Philly area, I truly enjoyed the cheesesteaks here. I’m not a fan of Velveeta, so I appreciate that most places don’t use liquid cheese on the hoagie bread—it's perfectly fine with me!

What a joke! First of all, what kind of place sells chicken wings and hot dogs and does not put napkins with the to go order or any condiments of any kind?! I guess the kind of of place that sells medium rare chicken wings. Very disappointed with my order and will not order again.

What??? No cheese wiz??? Oh no, that's a dealbreaker for a proper cheesesteak! I ordered the 6-inch steak with onions and white American cheese. The Italian roll was nice and crunchy, which I liked. However, the steak was tender but lacked seasoning, and the cheese and onions were just okay. I requested onion rings instead of fries, so I didn't get the combo. Unfortunately, that was a poor choice—they were soggy and barely warm. My friend had fries with his meal, and he said they were overcooked and dried out. The onion rings reminded me of something you'd find at a Safeway deli that's been sitting under heat lamps for hours. Overall, it wasn't terrible, but the quality missed the mark. I’m glad I tried it, but I wouldn’t recommend it.
