What User likes about Max's Of Burlingame:
I absolutely adore this restaurant! We had a group booking for 10 people and Freddie was a fantastic host. The appetizers were scrumptious and the mud cake was definitely our favorite dessert. Highly recommend! View all feedback. What User doesn't like about Max's Of Burlingame:
My mother and I went to Max's for dinner on a Tuesday night. It was quite busy so we ended up sitting outside, which was nice considering the weather in San Francisco. read moreMax's offers a blend of comfort and culinary nostalgia, making it a popular spot in San Francisco since 1978. While it features inviting outdoor seating and friendly service, some aspects need improvement, like the limited Californian wine selection and the need for interior upgrades. Diners appreciate generous portions, especially the pear and walnut salad and renowned Grandma’s Honey Roasted Chicken. Desserts, such as the mud cake and brownie with ice cream, earn high praise. Though some find it pricey for the overall experience, Max's remains a local favorite, balancing atmosphere with decent comfort food options.
