We had a great experience trying the shrimp pesto linguine and baked salmon with lemon creamy sauce at this Italian restaurant. Both dishes were delicious and fresh. View all feedback.
The Italian court interior looks really nice, it is so rare that the restaurants in America have such an interesting theme. The pizza we ordered was perfect: the dough, the cheese and the prosciutto upstairs had a great taste! You also have a really good selection of wine. The servers are nice and fast. There are 2 things I would really like to improve there: noise and bathroom (it is somehow old and not clean enough).
We have been here for many years since 2017. While the place is known for pizza, we usually get pasta or one of the ducks and they never disappointed! However, this review is for our excellent server, Sofia L., who, despite several tables that manage on Saturday night, offered a wonderful service and maintained a positive attitude and excellent attention. Another great thing about this wonderful restaurant!
I never tried this place because of his situation, honestly. But I came to a late lunch when another place nearby was not open. Yummy chicken bacon sandwich, at least a good beer available, friendly staff. As everywhere, the prices for Entrees are quite high, but I will definitely return at least for lunch.
Shared a medium veggie pie as an app, was better than it looked. Entreez were Lasagne, Eggplant Parm, and Chicken friata all equally amazing. Easy parking, friendly servers, warm atmosphere.
The food is quite good, no doubt about it. The pizzas are a nice size for one person and have high quality ingredients. A couple areas for improvement though: 1. The atmosphere is not at all what I 'd expect from a place at this price point. At $40/person, the restaurant felt dark and dingy. The tables and chairs were wobbly, low quality, and generally un decorated. There were some tiles missing from the floor, and the wall decorations just don 't lend themselves to a high brow Italian restaurant. 2. Our waitress didn 't have a clue about the menu. I know in the post Covid era we expect less than nothing from our service workers, but as someone who worked in the food service industry for over 4 years that 's not something I can give a pass to, especially in a country where tipping is required. She also admitted to never checking IDs for alcohol purchases which is a fantastic way to get your establishment shut down, so that was INSANE that she 'd admit that to us when we asked if she wanted to check them for our wine order. I don 't think ordering from an Italian place for delivery is ever a good idea, so we won 't be going back. Props to the chefs and cooks in the back though.
