A familiar neighborhood Safeway offers a broad grocery selection, fresh produce, a deli and an in-store Starbucks with many self-checkout kiosks for quick trips. Shoppers note fewer stockouts than big-box rivals and recommend the app for digital coupons. However, management and security lapses—an oddly located liquor subsection with its own slow checkout, inconsistent customer-service coverage, parking congestion at peak times and nighttime safety concerns—dampen the experience despite standout, helpful deli staff and generally reliable day-to-day convenience.

It's an average grocery store, but it's conveniently located, and the self-checkout lanes are typically open and efficient.
Nice place to get groceries, but may be difficult to navigate out of the parking lot during rush hour. Also I wouldn't go there after dark, unless you park close to the entrance. The outside security (blue light) camera was installed after numerous crime activity including assault on elderly.
Safeway is my favorite grocery store! They offer a wide selection of fresh produce, great deals, and excellent customer service. Convenient and reliable, I always enjoy shopping at Safeway!
The liquor and hygiene section, which has its own cashier, is poorly managed and ineffective for business. I was rudely told by the attendant that I couldn't leave without paying, even though I was still shopping and had a full cart. I had to put my items back to grab them later. Upon returning, I found people who didn’t have items from that section holding up the line, while several self-checkout stations and other registers remained empty. Other stores like Walmart, Fred Meyer, and even the Safeway down the street don’t operate this way, and it poses a safety and fire hazard! They put an exit sign above to comply with safety protocols, but it reflects poor management. It shouldn't take so long when there are other registers available; this inefficiency is frustrating.
The food is consistently excellent and fresh, and I've never had any complaints about the quality. Thank you for the wonderful service!
