However, there was a downside to my recent visits. I had to wait for about 20 minutes before a waiter approached our table. Meanwhile, I noticed that three other tables of men were able to get help before we were even acknowledged. When we were about to leave for another restaurant, a waitress finally came to our table. We informed her that we were waiting to order, but she simply said that they were busy.

We used to frequent this restaurant and always enjoyed great service and food. Even though it's been some time since our last visit, we decided to stop by today. The food was still excellent, but unfortunately, the service was lacking. Good food served hot and fast. the server was friendly and efficient. if they are looking for a diving experience, I highly recommend whimps.
Excellent food!The Beef Tips or Chislic (South Dakota Cubed Meat) Appetizer! Bite-sized pieces of grilled steak. You can't fake that; anything but the best cut of steak would be an unwarranted compromise. Whimp's was excellent!I had the double bacon cheeseburger de luxe, and they happily granted my request of an added egg over-easy. The tomato slice was a little weak, granted it is late November in South Dakota. But that burger rival the best burger I've ever had.I'll definitely go back!

A treasure of a roadhouse. Decor and menu unchanged for decades, all adds to the charm. Food is honest, the cocktails well poured, and the staff sweet and efficient! Thursday All you can eat spaghetti dinner should not be missed.
