This is the spot for Boba and Smoothies in Burbank. I've been going here for almost two years now and it always hits the spot. I tried the new Boba place down the street but it didn't have the same effect on me as Boba Loca. Great prices and so many flavoroptions! So refreshing on a hot day like yesterday. I'll always pick to go to this spot in Burbank.
Boba Loca is by far the best Boba place around. Its a small shop that has been in downtown Burbank for a long time. The owner is super friendly and so are the staff. I will always support local business, not the chain places that keep popping up and I hopeeveryone feels the same and we can keep local businesses alive!
Great milk teas and slushes, boba is good and the extra popping toppings are an extra fun splash. Friendly staff, fair prices and a pretty good setup (during COVID) looks like it'll be good post-COVID too.
I love this place! I especially like how it?s near BBHS and they have a spare computer that kids can use! The boba here is amazing!! It?s also always a comfortable temperature in there and it?s very modern and all the song they have are amazing as well. Then there?s cool art on the walls and there?s outlets everywhere and it?s a cute place to hang with friends and get some win done : last but not least I love how on the menu option you can add in supplements to your drink
The staff at this restaurant are incredibly friendly and accommodating. The boba drink was fantastic. I accidentally left my phone behind, but they found it and ensured it was safe until I came back to pick it up. Outstanding service!

This restaurant is just as fantastic as it was when I first began visiting years ago. The service is quick, and the wait time for food is minimal, even on busy weekends. My favorite drinks are the taro slush and Thai tea slush, both served with boba.
I absolutely love this place! One of my favorite things is its convenient location near BBHS, and they even have a spare computer available for kids to use. The boba here is fantastic! The ambiance is always comfortable, and the modern decor, along with the amazing playlist, makes it even better. The walls are adorned with cool art, there are outlets everywhere, and it’s a lovely spot to hang out with friends while getting some work done. Last but not least, I appreciate that the menu allows you to add supplements to your drink for just $1, like protein, which is a great bonus!
This place is fantastic for smoothies and anything boba-related. The staff is relaxed and fosters a friendly vibe. I've become a regular customer here. The prices are unbeatable!
So delicious! I love the boba milk tea. The owner and employees are the BEST! I highly recommend this place.

I recently tried the honeydew slushie with boba from a local bubble tea shop, and I was pleasantly surprised by how refreshing and delicious it was. The honeydew flavor was sweet and juicy, while the boba pearls added a lovely chewy texture to the drink. I was truly impressed with the honeydew slushie and would certainly order it again. The only drawback was that the drink was quite cold, making it slightly difficult to sip through the straw; however, this minor issue didn’t diminish my enjoyment. Overall, I highly recommend trying the honeydew slushie with boba if you enjoy bubble tea and fruity flavors.
My experience here always felt crowded. I only came here about 4 or 5 times because when I went there (not to many boba shops in Burbank) 8 years ago was only because there was no variety of boba shops. I always orders honeydew slush. The boba was just okay. I remember it being very dusty inside and drawings all over the walls.The fact that it's still around in 2023 is a good sign.Solid 3 stars.
We had an unpleasant experience at this restaurant. My husband and I were in the area looking for a snack when we noticed they offered boba and the renowned Korean mozzarella corn dogs. Since my husband had never tried one before, we decided to go in and get one for him. We ordered a coffee boba, a corn dog, and a water bottle. About five minutes after placing the order, the corn dog was handed to me, but I was immediately disappointed. It looked small and seemed like one of those frozen varieties you can buy at Costco. After taking a bite, I discovered that it was still frozen inside, which was unacceptable. I approached the counter to inform the staff, and they apologized, saying they would drop it back in the oil. This worried me since I had already taken a bite, and I wanted to ensure I would receive a completely new corn dog. I asked a woman at the front about it, and she assured me that I would get a new one. I watched as the guy opened a frozen corn dog, set a timer, and apologized again. I told him it was fine; I just wanted the corn dog. While we were waiting, we received the boba, which was good. However, as time passed, I sensed that the corn dog might end up burnt since the timer went off, but he was still busy with another order. We finished the entire boba drink while waiting for the tiny corn dog. Eventually, the guy approached me with a complicated explanation for the delay involving defrosting issues but ultimately looked like he had burnt it. I understand that mistakes happen and people are still learning, but this guy appeared to be in his mid-thirties, so I didn't see why making a corn dog was so challenging. My frustration escalated, and I asked for a refund. He processed the refund and had to explain to the lady in front why he was doing so. Honestly, I was very disappointed. They should stick to serving boba and leave food preparation out of it, as it proved too difficult for them to handle efficiently.
I really love boba, but my experience at this location was disappointing. I waited for quite a while for a cashier while three or four employees were in the back, and none of them came to help or even acknowledged my presence. I wasn't pleased with the lack of assistance.
Boba Loca is without a doubt the top boba place in Burbank. When it comes to customer service, pricing, and quality, it simply cannot be beaten. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, and the drinks are prepared quickly and taste incredible. I highly recommend choosing Boba Loca over a place like Bobatime.
