Service was definitively with a big smile, but kitchen was way too slow. We came on a random Friday (holiday) and maybe staff did not anticipate how busy it was going to get. That's adding another 20 minute wait for our table. Food came in after 20-25 minutes so, that's one star off but food is really good. The way they described the food is exactly how you'll get it and the way you imagined it. Bathrooms may need a... View all feedback.
What R C doesn't like about Another Broken Egg Cafe:
Waiting time here is unpredictable and one of the hosts that morning was brusque. When finally seated (after projected wait time), server (bar area) was good. The food was good. Unfortunately, will likely not return until they can incorporate a reservation option. View all feedback.
One of my favorite spots for brunch! I returned after a few months, and it never disappoints. My all-time favorite is their Lobster Brie Omelette, but this time I tried the Apple Fritter and Bacquezo Omelette, and it was delicious! I also can't forget to mention their coffee served in their signature mug. The servers were fantastic—very attentive with quick service. The ambiance is perfect for brunch, especially the outdoor seating. Parking isn’t a problem either, as there’s a big parking area across the street. I will definitely be coming back. I recommended this place to a friend, and now it's her favorite spot too!
Starting with the Hash Brown Benedict, which features ham and cheese inside hash brown croquettes — this dish has the potential to be a unique twist on the classic Eggs Benedict. But what truly makes or breaks Eggs Benedict? The hollandaise sauce. Unfortunately, this version had an overpowering tanginess that overwhelmed the dish. I'm not sure if this was just a one-time issue or if the recipe is meant to be that way, but Eggs Benedict shouldn't taste this tangy. Next up, the Biscuits and Gravy. While the gravy is tasty when slathered on the biscuits, the biscuits themselves fall flat. They need more flavor to elevate the dish. The sausage was the standout, delivering the most flavor of the plate. As for the breakfast potatoes, they simply need salt. The tater tots, on the other hand, were a pleasant surprise and are among my favorite items from Another Broken Egg. It's surprising that a side dish outshines so many savory and sweet breakfast options at a restaurant. I might consider returning for the sweet menu items, but it won’t be anytime soon given the plethora of outstanding brunch spots in Burbank. Unfortunately, Another Broken Egg didn’t win me over.
We returned to Another Broken Egg Cafe to sample their new Seasonal Menu. My husband opted for the Deep South Biscuit Sandwich, and let me tell you, the photo doesn’t do it justice. The chicken tenders, topped with an over-easy egg, were perfectly seasoned, freshly fried, and incredibly juicy. The bacon jam added an irresistible touch! The country potatoes, as always, were delicious. My daughter chose the S'mores Waffles, and as you can see from the photo, it looks as good as it tastes—she polished it off completely! I had the Lobster Brie Omelette from the regular menu, accompanied by grits. It was fluffy and absolutely delightful, with generous portions. The service was excellent. We always enjoy our visits here and can’t wait for their next Seasonal Menu!

Was in Glendale for the weekend. Had the opportunity to eat at Porto's but decided to eat somewhere else and weren't disappointed. Lot of seating and it was busy on a Sunday morning. Only waited 15 mins for us to sit since my in law said she can use the stool instead of waiting for 30 mins for a regular table for nine guests. We ate all the dishes that we ordered (Not all pictured) except for the Chicken Sandwich (to go). Southern Chicken Sandwich (Fried) crispy, tender juicy chicken on a brioche bun. Amount and freshness of toppings (BLT, pickled onions and ranch dressing compliments well with the chicken. Traditional Day Starter two freshly scrambled eggs with tasty/delicious andouille sausage with a little kick to it. Crab Cake Benedict The Best Crab Cake Benedict I've ever had! jumbo, I mean jumbo crab cake topped with andouille infused hollandaise sauce. Perfectly poached egg the way I liked it. The fried potatoes lacks seasoning but the Cholula did the trick. Must to order! We were greeted upon entering and asked multiple times if we need anything. It was a Sunday so parking is not an issue during our dining experience. We're absolutely coming back!
