We had a wonderful experience at this beautiful restaurant. The atmosphere was lovely, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Our party of 17 was warmly welcomed, and our tables were reserved, which was great. The meals were delicious and served in about an hour, which was impressive considering the size of our group. What Steve P doesn't like about Lime Kilns Inn:
The positives are that the beer is excellent, with a superb pint of Timothy Taylor. They also offer Butty Bach and Sharps. The menu is quite comprehensive, featuring vegetarian and vegan options; while it may be a bit basic, it's decent and affordable. However, the entire place could use some redecoration, and the beer garden definitely needs a lot of attention. View all feedback.
Fabulous range of ciders, good food and friendly staff. Great position on the canal. What more could you want. Function room available to hire too.
Nice pub situated on busy A5 but with canal side views. Good range of draught beers, plus keg and cider. Beers a little more expensive than average at over £4 a pint. Food also served but not by us on this visit. Main disadvantage is that it isn't wheelchair friendly.
Kitchen closed at 3pm on a Sunday bank holiday weekend. Offered cold pies. Rude staff. Scruffy outside seating area. Suggest sail on by to Trinity stop
Small pub next to the asby canal just off the a5 lovely staff and decent beer kept well. Very welcoming and if the weather is good you can sit and while away a few hours watching the boats go by. Recommended
Charming pub situated by the side of a canal. Well kept beers and excellent food. Speciality is their wide range of pies which are packed with delicious fillings. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.
