Elegant and friendly setting and service, refined and tasty cuisine. Very professional family business. Good value for money. Large, very practical parking lot (even with a caravan! We will come back... Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €50–60
Passing through the region, thank you for the recommendations that introduced us to the Windhof. Far from fast food restaurants and their standardized setting, we discovered an easily accessible restaurant for lunch, a bourgeois house with a warm and very neat setting. Copious dish of the day, simple menu, very well cooked, very good value for money. Very efficient and smiling service. Worth the detour, too bad it is far from us. Meal type: Lunch

We were passing through and decided to stop for lunch halfway to our destination. Great discovery, excellent cuisine. Perfect children's menu much appreciated by our children. Month after month I saw, when cruising the highway, this Windhof Restaurant. One day I decided to leave the highway and try. It was love at first bite! It is like you Mother or Grandmother is cooking for you. It tastes like the Portuguese say "saudade". The food quality and preparation is simply surprising. All is good...really...all is good. A must! AK
We stumbled across this restaurant on the autoroute north of Strasbourg on the way to Reims. It was so good we made a booking there and then to eat there on our way back home. The three course menu for €26 is truly exceptional. There are more expensive menu options but for lunch this is perfect. We were treated to a gorgeous amuse bush on both occasions and all three courses were first class. I was left thinking quite why this place does not have a Michelin star. It cannot be far away from getting one. Worth making a detour to eat here.

Very good delicious and personal culinary experience at the top. We had a good meal, a shame that, when booking the restaurant makes a difference between the customer with and without good. It was full on the date we chose except for the customers without a good meal.
