Feedback
Dining experiences at this establishment vary significantly. Many patrons highlight the attentive and friendly service, with staff often going above and beyond to accommodate guests. However, food quality proves to be inconsistent, with complaints about overcooked meals and delayed service, particularly during busy times. The atmosphere, while lively, sometimes lacks the tranquility diners seek. Despite some enjoying standout dishes, like butter chicken and seafood platters, others were left disappointed, prompting reconsideration of future visits. Overall, while the restaurant has its redeeming qualities, potential diners should keep expectations in check.
We had dinner at JP Clarke's in Bunratty on the recommendation of our B&B hostess on our first night in Ireland. We enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere of the restaurant. I had the soup of the day, potato served with warm brown bread and butter. My husband thought the fish and chips with peas were tasty. The meal was just what we needed after traveling all day.
Great location just 2 minutes drive from Bunratty Castle called here after doing the castle park. Good parking friendly staff when entered. Cosy booths bench seating good for a nights drinking relaxing. Good choice of food on menu reasonable prices. Staff were chatty efficient. Food arrived in good time staff cleared up once finished. Would recommend for a meal or drink

The beef stew here was one of the best things I ate while in Ireland! My husband had the steak sandwich and it was also delicious.
