It’s bread and avocado, with a LOT of green salad. Bread wasn’t particularly fresh or soft (surprising, since I came for breakfast), the eggs were great, avocado was… well, avocado, and the salad, as always, was just filler. Coffee was just okay. This place is really expensive for the quality of the food, and the seating is not particularly comfortable. Not sure why it’s so well-reviewed, maybe Australian expats? I do hope food is actually better in Australia though. In the end this was one of the few cafes in Tokyo that didn’t leave a good impression.
Visited for the second time. It is humble. Located in a low key neighborhood of Sendagi, few minutes walk from Sendagi station. CIBI breakfast was fantastic, couple it with their fresh brewed coffee. You can also buy some coffee beans to go or some merchandises
The place has a chill vibe and the service was very good. Everybody seemed happy, relaxed and friendly. The staff also spoke to us in English. The cappuccino was very good! However, the lunch chicken bowl and the veg sandwich was a little underwhelming, but not bad. Wanted to try the cakes and muffins but was too full :p want to go back to try the gateau au Chocolat.
Loved visiting this Tokyo branch of one of my fave cafes in Melbourne. Lovely atmosphere. Staff friendly and can speak English. Food great and of course the coffee is great. Sourdough was delicious. Thanks for letting my kids and I relax in your peaceful space.
Quirky, hipster-esque cafe in the Yanaka area, with a focus on coffee, matcha and sweets. Some lunch options also available. Cool wooden vibes, with old retro artefacts dotted around the cafe. Lots of beautiful more modern local pieces for sale at the front of the store too. Friendly and happy staff.
