However, the facilities had a p... read more This was my first time camping by the ocean, and I was worried about the strong wind causing sparks to fly onto my tent or tarp! However, the facilities had a power spot and an art museum, and there were people fishing by the sea, so I didn't have to worry about getting bored. There were sponges and detergent available at the washing area, and the toilets were well-maintained. If you're camping in a tent, you'll need to drive a bit to get to the hot springs. I wanted to enjoy hiking in Kunisaki, so I was satisfied with the location. There were a lot of man-made structures around, so I wouldn't recommend it for those looking to enjoy nature, but overall, I think it's a clean and family-friendly campground.

I had heard that the wind can be strong, but the tent site was not as windy as I had expected. I think the strength of the wind varies depending on the location. The checkout time is early, so it was difficult to pack up in the winter. I wish they would extend it a bit longer. I definitely want to go back to this campground again next time.

The sunflowers were all drooping due to heavy rain, but on sunny days, the place is very beautiful.
