Great Northern - Bundoran

The hotel is great. The bar food and breakfast selection were excellent. The staff were helpful and polite. The rooms are spacious.

The staff at the restaurant were very friendly, but there were a few issues with the accommodations. The beds and pillows were uncomfortably hard, and the windows did not block out much noise. Additionally, the breakfast was consistently served cold.

Our golfing trip was made even better by the excellent service we received. The breakfast was exceptional and we highly recommend this spot.

A down market, dirty hotel in a fabulous location. The room was exceedingly small. The shower broke after a single use. We requested service while at breakfast so my wife could have a shower before we left. An hour later nothing had been done, so we departed. The restaurant is a set menu for dinner, with a minimum 2 courses for €32. I just wanted a Caesar salad. Not possible. Why? Occasionally people want to share a light meal. But that's not on offer. The reception area was dirty and in slight disarray when we arrived. That should have warned me away. In the evening we enjoyed listening to the conversations of everyone traversing the hallway, in addition to the adjacent room, as sound insulation is apparently also not available. On a positive note, the walk outside the hotel is stunning and worth a visit.

Shocking place, room was freezing, impossible to use the shower as it was so hot it would burn u . Leisure center was a DISGRACE!!!, pool was bogging, the sauna was missing the bottom step, it was broken and was outside leaning against the wall, horrible smell from hot tub, steam room is a joke, some one needs to take control of this area. I was disgusted!!! Breakfast is **** poor. Its only savour was the porridge and brown bread, barring that muck . Plus points barman lovely, guests friendly, the walks were stunning, there charging 140 a night , its more like 75 max, and i mean max,
