We were greeted by very fri... read more My brother was raving about this restaurant as he had eaten there.before. 8 of us headed there for dinner. We had booked in advance. We were greeted by very friendly staff and seated promptly. My daughter and I ordered a pancetta and porcini pasta in a white wine SAUCE. There was no sauce on the dish and it was very dry. I called a waitress and asked if we could maybe have a little of the white sauce that was on the tagliatelle dish. She seemed taken aback and said that we could have it but we would have to pay extra for it!! We agreed to that. She then arrived to the table with the menu in her hand. She pointed out the dish on the menu that I had ordered and strrssed that it came with a white wine sauce. I thought this was unprofessional of her. I knew what I had ordered. My point was that the dish was dry. We were then quite aware that she was speaking about us to the other waitress at thecounter. It really spoiled my evening and we were disappointed that this happened. We were charged €5 for the sauce. I’ve never been charged for extra sauce or gravy in any other restaurant. She made out our bill about 5 times before we got it. We did leave a small tip but I won’t go back !!

The surf and turf steak was so juic... read more Great place with romantic ambience, lovely food, huge portions, and kind waitresses. This place is a hidden gem of Bundoran. The surf and turf steak was so juicy and the garlic butter was a great addition to the steak. Prawns were well balanced and not overpowered by the spices. Junior loved the pasta and we devoured the deserts. They were spot on! All in all, I'd give it 95/100 and that's just because they have no draught beer. Dinner for 3 with desserts and drinks cost around €140 but unlike other similar establishments, it's a money well spent with no regrets. Well done Blue Leaf, you have made our day (or evening)!
