Young Australian Hotel - Bundaberg

On a recent visit to Bundaberg we had dinner at this hotel. We were greeted with a friendly welcome. When it came time to order the Atlantic salmon I asked could I have the lemon and caper sauce instead of what was on the menu. The reply was of course. The salmon, sauce and vegetables were to die for. Well done

Organized a surprise dinner here for my mothers birthday with 40 people attending. Service was prompt and the staff lovely and very helpful. Everyone was impressed with their meals and many stated they'd be back in the future. Thank you Young Aussie!!

Well I don't like to give bad reviews but this place really need to lift its game! Went for a lunch with friends and not one person or kid was happy with their meals, now that doesn't happen often, not one person. The meals weren't anything special and they weren't cheap for what we were served, now if they were a $10 special maybe we wouldn't have minded so much, but normal price. I'm not sure they had a chef becasue it was more like a cook was truly Trying their best and just not handling it, and what bothers me is there was one one other couple there. Maybe others had tried their food???? Anyway I'd stay clear as so many nice places to eat in bundy!! Happy hunting

Very welcoming staff with a relaxed atmosphere. My husband had the pork schnitzel with chips and salad - very generous serving. I had the avocado with chicken and mushroom mornay with side salad. Both were delicious. One of the best bitters, lime and soda's I've had too.

Five in our group. We all had the salad lunches - Ceasar or Atlantic Salmon. The salads were fresh, plenty of chicken, bacon or salmon. Portions were generous but not excessive. At $18 per salad I consider it was fair rather good value. The chef and staff were friendly and helpful. The big open dining hall is modern and fresh, but it doesn't have the ambiance of a restaurant. It was nice and cool on a hot summer's day.
