Spontaneous meal out with in-laws. Thought we were driving into the boonies when we came across the very busy fairy light, palm tree and waterfall featured restaurant. A wedding party had filled the place, so we're grateful they still took us in. They didn't tell us meals would be delayed, but when they came we were all pleased. What User doesn't like about Penny Lane Gardens Restaurant:
We had an early dinner with family and were seated outside in the garden. It is a beautiful setting with nice gardens however at this time of the year it is a little cool to eat outside without any heaters. The wait for dinner was a bit long even though the restaurant was not busy at that time. Most of the meals were tasty, but not large, however we had one dish of pumpkin and cashew risotto which was very bland and... View all feedback.

(Ask for crispy chorizo if you like it that way) gorgeous ambience and the head chef/owner was very accomodating and apologetic for the small bug size - and explained they get all fresh local produce so it's hard to tell how meaty they'll be. Desserts were delicious and good portion sizes. Look forward to trying brekky or lunch there next time in town
What a lovely spacious restaurant, this is well thought out and very well laid out. The gardens are beautiful with really nice spaces to hang out and chat with friends. The food was great, we had tapas and it was excellent combination of flavours and spices.
We had lunch at this restaurant with a great country feel and outlook this is a classy restaurant as far as Bundaberg is concerned, great menu, polite staff and attention to detail, situated only 10 minutes west of the CBD if visiting Bundaberg this is a must visit to dine here the menu was great.
This was my first visit to Penny Lane Gardens and I wasn't disappointed. The restaurant is really well laid out, apparently the gardens are nice, it was dark, I'll take their word for it. Service was swift and attentive and the food was excellent. On our table I had the pork, excellent, there were two chicken Louisiana, two chicken mignon and a fettuccine. Everyone said they were all excellent. Desserts of creme brûlée, churros, tiramisu and sticky date pudding was also excellent. As this was a work function with an out of town visitor I was really happy that I chose this restaurant and would recommend it highly.
As a regular visitor to Penny Lane Gardens, we are always well looked after and the food is always amazing! Perfect for any occasion, romantic date night or out with the family. Staff are always very accommodating and will go out of their way to make all guests feel welcomed and valued. Definitely a restaurant to visit!
