The ambiance is poor to OK, because... read more The food at omogari is delicious. The sushi and sashimi always fresh and the tempura vegetables and prawns light and crispy. The ambiance is poor to OK, because whenever we go there, it seems to be quite empty. Their eel main dishes are also great but my absolute favourite is their ginseng chicken soup. Highly nutrious and the bones are so soft you can eat the whole thing. I've tried it multiple times over the course of 7 years and the quality has not dimished. The prices are not cheap but standard for any japanese/korean restaurant. Your host is warm and friendly and honest with whether you are over ordering. A must visit if you're in the area and feeling like eating Japanese or Korean food!

I agree there is no ambience but the service has always been excellent and we have enjoyed both Korean and Japanese favourites of ours. The extra attention to my elderly mother when we take her is appreciated. It is also not overpriced. We do need a little help to get the wheelchair up a step
