A kids cheese toastie made with American cheese on hard bread that was deemed inedible; calamari that was tasteless; underdone fries; eggs with no run in their yolks ... Service was okay. It would get a 2 for lunch.By contrast, morning tea here was great - good drinks and a delicious spread of pastries and other sweet snacks. A 4 for morning tea.Not cheap.

Staff are wel... read more We found this to be a pleasant experience. The soft shell crab brioche bun was excellent as was the coffee. It can get very busy, so best to book. Staff are well trained. Quite a lot of variety. Must be a few sweet tooth customers around here as a large array of sweets. Overall , recommended

The staff seemed overwhelmed and the lack of options for kids was disappointing. The veggie burger was disappointing and the chips were burnt. The chicken was overly salty and boring. There were even issues with running out of juice and dessert at an early hour. Overall, this was not a family-friendly experience and we will not be returning to this cafe in the near future.

I decided on Caf... read more I chose Café Vue for our women's restaurant club, "Ladies who eat." Each month, we try a new restaurant, and this month it was my turn to pick. I decided on Café Vue for its unique take-away style. The café packs a hamper for you and you can enjoy your meal outdoors. It sounded like a whimsical experience, but in reality, it felt more like a challenging trek through the woods with a heavy wicker hamper. After finally reaching our destination, we unpacked our goodies and enjoyed a feast of delicious and indulgent food. Despite not knowing exactly what we were eating, everything was fantastic. The highlight was a decadent chocolate mousse cake with a surprise passionfruit curd center. It was the best dessert I've had in a long time. Overall, the experience was unforgettable, and even though lugging the hamper was a workout, it was definitely worth it.
