Blind Tiger Bar - Bulimba

The atmosphere was excellent, with friendly staff and quirky decor. They had a great selection of local beers on tap and the seating was seriously comfortable. Now that I've discovered this hidden gem, I will definitely be returning!

I have visited this restaurant in Bulimba multiple times as a local. I love that they have outdoor seating where we can enjoy a couple of drinks and listen to the Sunday jazz music. The staff are all very friendly and even bring water bowls for our dog when we bring her along. The decor is unique and different, which we appreciate. The food is delicious, as are the cocktails and wine selection. I highly recommend checking out this restaurant.

My friend and I stumbled across this place Friday night by share luck - we were told to go to Oxford Street and this place just stood out with its taxidermist animals and couches - my friend asked the lovely lady what her best Pinot Noir was and she served me the The Bress and by god its the most amazing Pinot Ive ever tried and without a doubt Ive tried my fare share - I work and manage a bar back home so this blew my mind - my friend asked for a good pilsner and was given Red Hill Pilsner and it was beautiful crisp and aromatic - we loved it so much we went back and spent our evening here on Sunday night - Your waitress Tess is a perfect Gem huge compliments to her and her hospitality remember if your in New Plymouth New Zealand come for a visit :) Thank you so much xx

Popped into the Blind Tiger Bar about 730pm on a Friday night for a pre-dinner drink. Went straight to the bar to order a drink to be told to take a seat as it's table service - initial thoughts, how lovely. We looked at the menu (cocktail menu looked good) but decided to order some wines. After a long wait for service (about 15 minutes) decided to pop back in and order the drinks - when doing so the waitress apologised and took the order. Another 10 minutes and no drinks so were forced to cancel the order and leave to make a dinner booking. Would have loved to have enjoyed a pre-dinner drink here, but waiting almost 30 minutes for nothing was disappointing. In saying that the live music and atmosphere of the bar was enjoyable but will likely not return as many other bars (with prompt service) on Oxford Street.

Amazing night with JJ singing Excellent drinks. Need more staff to have faster service, but the drinks and atmosphere is fun and everyone is friendly, great night
