The outside dining area is beautiful, staff kind and professional and food was delicious (my partner had lobster and I had tasty mezzo penne, sharing a fresh salad, a mouth-watering tiramisú, bottle of wine, water and two big Averna shots). In total we spent 50€ so the place is definitely not cheap, but we had a REALLY good dinner. After spending the day at the beautiful beach of Buggeru and enjoying a stunning sunset at the beach, La Privilegiata was the cherry on the cake of our day!

The cover charge was one of the highest we paid at 2 euros a head, and did not include water which was also pricey at 4 euros a litre. However the ravioli di ricotta and the raviolini di pesce were excellent, we followed this by tiramisu which I don't usually do, but so glad I did, it was the best tirimisu we ahd in three weeks travelling arounf Italy and Sardinia. Lovely service too.
