Their BULGOGI FRIES are also a hit and easily shareable among four people, while the fried dumplings are super tasty. I’m a big fan of their RICE BALLS, especially when I order mine with fried TUNA. It's like sushi rolled into a ball with sauce—though you can also order regular sushi if you prefer. The ramen is fantastic, but I made the mistake of ordering the DANJI RAMEN with chicken, which was just way too spicy for me. It had two little pepper symbols, and the maximum on the menu is four; I thought I could handle it, but I was mistaken! I did finish it, but it was a struggle. The food comes out quickly, and the staff is friendly. Occasionally, I refill my drinks myself, while other times, they do it for me, and I don't mind either way. DANJI is a great spot located in bustling Buford, close to the Mall of Georgia, and it never feels overly crowded. With good food at reasonable prices and ample seating for large groups, it's a fun choice for any occasion. Just be cautious with the spice levels—don’t be fooled! This has become one of my go-to places now! #rolieats #asianfood #goodfoods #goodeats #omurice #friedchicken #friedrice #koreanfood #ramen #riceballs #spicyramen #dumplings #danji #buford #bufordfood #gotospot #dontjudgeme
Stopped in for lunch. Had the Danji Fried Half Chicken with a side of fried rice and hubby had to have the waffles ?. Waffles were warm and fluffy and had just the right amount of syrup. The Fried Rice was awesome ?? ??. The chicken was perfectly fried. Not greasy just juicy and crunchy. We didn't feel so heavy after that we were able to continue our grocery shopping.
I really enjoy the lunch combo, but I wish I could order a plate like that for dinner too, even if it costs a bit more. They stop taking orders at 3:30 and don’t reopen until 5 PM. As for the Bulgogi, it's not that impressive.
The portions are huge! The food is overall good and flavorful, although may be a bit too drenched in sauce. The service knocks off a star as the staff aren?t very friendly and music is blasting. For best experience would recommend getting it to-go insteadof dining in.
The first thing you need to be aware when coming here is that the food is delicious but expensive, and the portions are huge! Other reviews say that you share a plate with someone, that?s true. Me and my husband shared the Korean Chicken BBQ fried riceand we felt it was perfect for both. We spend $71 for 4 people, drinking just one tea and one beer, the rest was their courtesywater, so I believe it could have been $80 or more if we all had drinks. Other than that, we loved this and we would come backspecially for their kimbob because they are delicious and affordable comparing the rest of the plates. It?s a must tryrestaurant if you love Korean food, the kimchi fried rice was super super hot ???? beware! My daughter couldn?t eat it. Food isspicy here.
