The décor is lovely, the ser... read more We regularly visit this area of Burgundy and this is the restaurant where we take visitors to experience authentic Burgundian food. The décor is lovely, the service good and as well as the usual suspects like boeuf bourguigon and fish in a white wine sauce you can try œufs en meurette (eggs poached in a wonderful red wine sauce) and our German friend was very excited to get ris de veau (thymus gland) which he says is now difficult to find in Germany.. Deserts are great but if you haven't met it before a café gourmand is a great choice instead of desert. It is coffee that comes with a selection of small desert treats. The patron will recommend a reasonably priced Chablis and it all adds up to a superb dining experience.
