I walked in looking for a quick takeout meal and was warmly welcomed right away. I was recommended the open chicken slovacki, and I must say, it did not disappoint! The dish featured fresh greens and vegetables, perfectly cooked chicken, and generous portion sizes. I definitely plan to come back and dine in next time! I highly recommend it for a classic salad. They don't even give you alot of food.portion were small.not worth the money.
I have a real fondness for Greek diners, so my review might be a bit biased. The server was friendly and patient, letting us linger at our table for two hours, even though we finished our meal after the first hour. The food arrived promptly, and everything tasted wonderful.
Excellent, homestyle feeling. Taste of Fish Fry was superb. Waitresses were friendly and attentive.
I enjoyed my salad, and I decided to add some chicken to it. The waitress was very pleasant. As for parking, there was plenty of space available. The restaurant is kid-friendly, which is a plus. In terms of wheelchair accessibility, I had no trouble entering or exiting the restaurant, and sitting at a table was easy as well. However, I'm unsure if the bathroom I used would accommodate a wheelchair.
For a slice of cheesecake in a slice of chocolate pie 18 .00 that's insane. The last time the girl messed up my burger and burned it it was disgusting. I'm done going here .

I visited this restaurant for breakfast with a friend and was extremely pleased with both the service and the food. It has a charming old-school diner vibe, which adds to the experience. I look forward to returning with my family, especially since the prices are quite reasonable!

I remember when there were three restaurants on this corner. Jimmy's, Four Seasons, and the Wehrle. Today, only the Wehrle remains. The restaurant has gone through numerous owners over the years and frankly I had not been there in quite a while, so I thought I'd give it a try. The food and the service here are excellent! The waitresses are wonderful. The service is fast but not rushed, and the whole staff is very friendly.
A nice little diner with good food. Their menu has something for everyone.

I have previously visited the Wehrle family restaurant for a business lunch, and it has always been excellent. This past Saturday night, I went for dinner and the place was packed. We ordered a few different dinner items, including the Shrimp Monsoon Salad, which is an absolute must – it was fantastic! We also tried the lamb souvlaki served over Caesar salad, and the lamb was out of this world. The service was great, and the atmosphere is wonderful. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an amazing meal at a great price. The TVs are a nice touch, especially with the Belmont Stakes on. I will definitely be back!
We went in for dinner on a Friday night and were reminded just how fantastic it is. I suppose you can't please everyone. First, I want to mention that the restaurant was packed, which speaks volumes about its popularity. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and attentive. We were a party of four—three adults and one child. I ordered the beer-battered fish with Greek potatoes, and it was FANTASTIC! It's, hands down, the best fish fry anywhere. My wife had the chicken souvlaki dinner, also served with Greek potatoes—it’s definitely the best souvlaki in Buffalo. Having tried many Greek restaurants in the city, none compare to this one! The other person in our group ordered one of their burgers, which looked amazing. There’s a great variety of burgers to choose from, and the kids’ menu also offers a nice selection. One thing that all our meals had in common was that the food was hot, fresh, and generously portioned (the plates were overflowing!), all at some of the best prices you'll find in Buffalo. It was also nice to see the owner on-site, ensuring everything was running smoothly. I'm glad to confirm that everything is still fantastic at the Wehrle restaurant—two thumbs up! We will definitely be back. If you're looking for a delicious meal at a reasonable price, Wehrle restaurant is the place to be!
Hi Melissa, I was curious about what day you visited Wehrle so I can avoid going on that day. I really enjoy their food, but I wouldn’t want to run into that situation.
LOVE IT!! Best Greek restaurant in Buffalo!!!A must for anyone who likes Greek food!! My family and I went there for dinner and has the best chicken souvlaki we have ever had!! Our waiter was excellent! Great place very clean and definitely kid friendly! Will definitely go back!
The food is good eapecially the calamari and monsoon salads!! The waitors/esses are super nice. It's a real family neigjborhood kind of joint. Also their omlettes are good- the souvlaki one and bacon cheese are my 2 favs.
