This place has been open for 7 months, this was my first time there and will definitely not be the last. The ordering system using a tablet, is very cool. The food is served fresh and super fast. I definitely think the AYCE is worth the price ten times. Beautiful atmosphere and a large variety of great food.
This place is fantastic! The staff were very courteous, and the service was excellent. The sushi is delicious! I will definitely be coming back soon. Thank you!
It was my first visit, and I wasn't sure what to order, but a young waitress recommended the beef short rib, and it was absolutely outstanding.

Waves is a regular stop for me when I’m looking for a midday meal in the city. The service is consistently fast, friendly, and accommodating. I really appreciate that they honor substitutions and comments on mobile orders, which is a refreshing change from many other places these days. I usually go for the Bangkok Ferries or the Pad Thai, both of which are always perfectly cooked. The ambiance and interior decor are lovely for dining in. Overall, I would highly recommend this spot. Rating: 4.5/5.

I’m new to BUFFALO. The menu looked decent so I thought I’d give this place a shot. And omfg do I regret it.Idk how y’all western New Yorkers do SUSHI but that definitely ain’t it.Don’t even get me started on the PHO. Broth was cold. Noodles soggy. Meat almost shredded and meatballs thinly sliced. Took one bite and immediately walked out. Absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. Brought up the issue with the store manager and instead of apologizing for the bad food she laughed it off had the audacity to charge me the full amount. Idk how a restaurant in the heart is downtown serving food like this is still in business.

A step below Mall food. Cuisine appeared reheated and not fresh. We arrived at 9:00 when the restaurant stated it closed at 10:00. The person at the door clearly did not want us there and I felt we were going to be turned away. I wish they had. The place was empty. The waitress was friendly but the food was at best mediocre. They had no beer on tap and when I ordered a Vietnamese beer called Saigon, I got a Thai beer instead. The decor, atmosphere and music was as Mall like as the food. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I have eaten Thai food throughout the country and outside. Even if this was a off night there is no way this establishment is worth a visit. I never like to give a bad review unless it is truly earned.
Loved the food, was there for lunch was so good that came back for dinner, service was amazing and fast. Highly recommended.Food: 5/5

Server was kind and attentive... The restaurant was clean and beautifully designed... The food was amazing !!! Was bummed they were out of the tempura calamari, but the tempura shrimp was great... Food was very reasonably priced and very fresh... I will return here again !!!
Awesome noodle dishes! I'll definitely return this restaurant. They also have a bar for those looking to have adult beverages with their tasty food.
I was initially disappointed since we were expecting the all you can eat menu they used to have. But, everything we ordered was quite good including the fiery udon noodles with veggies (though I wanted it with steamed tofu and the waitress said no so I only had the veggies), the white tuna sushi pizza, and a surprisingly large seaweed salad that was unusual in that it had lots of iceburg lettuce and some dried cranberries in additional to a generous serving of seaweed. I hope it survives because of the reasonable pricing, fresh, well prepared dishes, spacious, somewhat artful decor, and good service.
To take the time to write a review, you know the place is special. Was very pleasantly surprised how good the food was. Definitely recommend
Dinner was amazing! I really appreciate the concept of all-you-can-eat small plates. The menu is designed in a way that allows you to sample a wide variety of delicious dishes. The food was served quickly, and the customer service was excellent. I will definitely return!

I regularly visit Waves for lunch in downtown, and I always find the service to be quick, friendly, and accommodating. I really appreciate their willingness to make adjustments or substitutions to mobile orders, which is becoming quite rare these days. My go-to dishes are the Bangkok fried rice and Pad Thai, both of which never fail to impress. The interior atmosphere and decor provide a nice setting for dining in. Overall, I highly recommend Waves. Rating: 4.5/5 -BJ
