I've been eating here for over 30 years and eating is just as I remember it from then. service is excellent! the waitress/students are very attentive and informative the portions are plentiful and there is a nice selection of authentic Italian cuisine. I will continue to dinate here when in the city. thanks santasiero’s!

A friend was invited here today, who was regular for half a century. because the place proudly stands out with its spaghetti, I ordered a full size and two meat... read more A friend was invited here today, who was regular for half a century. because the place proudly stands out with its spaghetti, I ordered a full size and two meatballs (the latter is sold separately) it was served less than 5 minutes later. in the first taste one will not notice anything special and would be only average. the same applies to the meat balls. but as they continue to eat spaghetti and the sauce and later mix with the meatballs, the Umami sensation begins to kick and they want more of it. I do not think it is the best out there, but it is a unique experience and satisfying overall.

The ignorant... read more I went to Santasiero’s this past Thursday. It pains me to say I’ll never be back. We walked in and noticed a “reservations only” sign on the door. The ignorant waitress asked us aggressively if had reservations, we said no, she said it would be a 2-3 hour wait. Their was hardly anyone sitting in the dining room. The ambience was never great but now it’s become an actual filthy hole. I had fond memories of going to Santasiero’s for years but I can honestly say those days are done. Disgusting!
