For Buffalo , real kosher style deli food is pretty much extinct. This is the last standing with a lineage of an old kosher deli called Stumpy's deli on hertel. Risa has carried on her grandfather Stumpy's tradition. This is one of the only place is actually pickling and brining their own corned beef and pastrami with a very old traditional recipe. I wish more people knew about this place and give them the business as it is truly underappreciated. Amazing food great sandwiches definitely a must try if like kosher style deli food and other kosher style delights.

Every dish we ordered was absolutely delicio... read more During our visit to Buffalo, we were on the hunt for a great local deli, and Risa's certainly met our expectations. Every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious. The chicken noodle soup was straightforward yet rich and hearty, clearly made from scratch. We also tried three sandwiches: the Reuben, BLT, and roast beef. I've had many Reubens before, but this one was definitely among the best. All our sandwiches were made fresh to order and piled high with meat and toppings. Upon entering, I was greeted warmly and with a friendly smile. I highly recommend Risa's deli!
