UNRELIABLE! I enjoyed a gluten-free pizza from here last week; it was delicious. However, my experience today was disappointing. I placed my order at 4:52 and was told it would take 20 minutes. I arrived in about 15 minutes, but when I got home, the pizza was barely warm! I live just a few blocks away, and it's summer—there’s no excuse for lukewarm pizza! I’m really let down! The best pizza in Buffalo! I ordered takeout for dinner and was impressed with everything. The food was fantastic, earning a perfect score of 5, and the service was equally excellent, also a 5. The atmosphere was great as well, so I’d recommend it for a nice evening. Be sure to try the side of Blue Cheese Dressing, The Old Fashioned Pizza, The Hat Trick Pizza, and the Cheese Pizza with Pepperoni. Prices are very reasonable, ranging from $1 to $10 per person.
The other day I had this old man thought. Back in my day a pizzeria made pizza and maybe one or two other things and it was great pizza. These days most pizzerias sell wings, subs, salads, pasta dishes, fried foods, fish frys, burgers, tacos, desserts, the menu goes on and on. Every additional item subtracts from what really counts. I wondered what it would be like if a pizzeria opened that just served pizza. Tonight I ordered from One Pie Pizza co. If you're near Clinton and Rossler, get it. They serve pizza. And it's really good. Take out only. And try the Bleu cheese, so tasty.
