I've ordered take out from here three times, and eaten it twice. The first two times it was very good, not amazing, but I happily went back. Just now I had an unfortunate experience inasmuch as I didn't get what I ordered. I know the order was communicated to the kitchen accurately, but instead of Tofu Pad Thai when I opened the container (long after being too far away to go back) it was Pad Thai with Chicken. So I'm torn. I hate mistakes like that, but will probably go back and just be a j and open the container before I leave.
I ordered food for takeout for me and my partner and wanted to try a few different things since we've never been here before. We ordered the Garlic Noodle, Shan Noodle, Tempura Shrimp Roll, and Samosas. Everything we tried was delicious with my stand out favorite being the Shan noodle. Don't even know how to really describe the flavors, but it was so good! The portions didn't seem as big as I expected looking at the size of the containers they came in but actually were very a perfect portion once plated. Saw way I felt about how dry the meals looks in the container (see pics), but once you stir it up its much saucy enough. The tempura roll was good and definitely would recommend the samosas too.
If it's good enough for Alton Brown, it's good enough for me. So far, Ive had the seaweed salad and small nigiri roll. Both were fresh and tasty. On my 2nd visit, i had the tea leaf salad and it is addictive! Tangy and crunchy and unlike anything I've ever had before but I'll def have again. My son loved his papaya salad which was a hot and cold noodle dish. The storefront is plain and unassuming but the food inside is delicious Thai/Burmese cuisine.
