I ordered a breakfast melt, and she inform... read more I arrived at 7:45 AM and was the only customer in the café. After chatting with the owner, I placed my order at 7:50. I ordered a breakfast melt, and she informed me it would take about 5 to 7 minutes. No problem there. An employee was in the back making scones, and a little while later, another couple came in and placed their order. The owner prepared their food and then continued to chat with them at their table. By 8:13 AM, I texted my wife to say it felt like I was waiting forever. I noticed that the employee in the back saw me still sitting there and came over to help. She made my coffee and prepared my food while the owner remained engaged in conversation with the couple. Finally, at 8:20 AM, I was able to leave with my fresh food and coffee, a full 35 minutes after placing my order while being the only customer at that time. As a suggestion, I was in direct view of the owner the entire time I was there, and I tried really hard to be patient, but it was a bit frustrating given that I didn't have much time that morning.
