My wife and I recently got married in Buffalo and we figured we would stop by for a drink after our reception with our wedding party. As soon as we entered the bar the staff was nothing but rude and impolite. None of the wedding party was loud or acting inappropriate. The staff treated us horrifically. They were rude, short, nasty, and they couldn’t be bothered with us even though we picked their bar as a stop after our wedding day. It was super sad for my wife and I on our special wedding day. Lucky Day Whiskey does not represent what Buffalo is all about. If you’re looking for a nice place to grab a drink at the end of the day I would stay away. There are plenty of other restaurants and bars in Buffalo that would love to take care of you.

I got impressed by all the whiskey bottles (they say it's over 700) in the wall, so if you like bourbon that's your place. We are not huge whiskey fans sowe only had food and beer. The oysters were super fresh and actually a bit cheaper than other places in town, a great deal. Thesteak tartare was good, I've had better in other areas of the globe but it wasn't disappointing at all. I also ordered theseafood linguine and that was DELICIOUS! The sauce was so rich and aromatic, it tastes like the sea in your mouth. Our serverwas really nice and attentive, constantly checking if we needed more drinks or food. Overall it was a really good experience andI will definitely be going back.

I feel the dimness suits this place really well. I encourage everyone that decides to come here, please ask for server Jake. Jake was veryattentive and informative. Jake not only offered recommendations, but he listens to what you like. Fries fresh cut with someskin on is always a winner Brisket sliders wonderful flavors and the meat was so tender. Only complaint was some of the pieceswas nothing but fat Halibut came with a bed of lentils OMG… you wouldn’t think fish could come across, as a fillingdish. But it definitely was filling, and the lentils added so much flavor. Whiskey flights change often.. but flights wastruly amazing with good quality Cheesecake they should be arrested for how good this tasted Final day thoughts good foodand drinks..
