I explained that I couldn't make it that day due to other commitments and would stick to my original plan of picking it up on Saturday. I mentioned I have a pickup truck and wasn't concerned about the snow. The lady said she would have to "play it by ear" since she had to deliver a wedding cake and asked me to call her around 3 PM to check on her whereabouts. On Saturday, November 19, I called several times and left messages but received no response. Then on Sunday, November 20, at 3:15 PM, I received a message on Facebook stating my order was ready. To my surprise, on November 23, I got another message saying there was a travel ban and that they couldn't leave their street, but they checked for messages from me as soon as they could. I understand travel restrictions, but my town wasn't affected, and driving wasn't an issue for me. Thankfully, I hadn't paid for the cookies. Now, on November 23, you're contacting me? I certainly don't want cookies that are seven days old, especially since my son's party was fantastic! However, I must stress that communication is crucial in any business. Some might call this a "no update update."
