A really nice place. The burger was fine, a little too sweet with the bacon jam. And I felt like the tator tots could have been cooked a little longer. But the drinks were delicious View all feedback.
What Jason Cropper doesn't like about Hartman's Distilling Co.:
Let me first say, the drinks, food and service was awesome. So, why one star? It’s simply the cost of the food to portion size. I’ve been many places with a 14$ skillets that has a potion size to feed an adult and is still very good. My tab here for 3 to eat and a few drinks was 99.36. I’m still very hungry. That kind of money and a rumbling stomach severely upsets me. The time to get food from the kitchen is absolut... View all feedback.
This place used to be somewhat classy, now it has devolved into Chippewa 2.0. Horrible bar staff, horrible management, complete trash. Don’t go there if you’re over 21 and looking to be respected. Management needs to get some training in place, what a disaster.
First time here was for Father's day (first round for Dads was on the house . Very comfortable atmosphere, attentive staff, and delicious food and drinks! The bagel with smoked salmon was delicious (capers were a nice addition! , And my dad's breakfast sandwich was both delicious and very well priced!Nice location by the the waterfront

I’ve been going to Hartmans since they opened and have always loved their cocktails and food! I went recently and their charcuterie was not what it used to be, and was not what was listed on the menu. The menu listed cheeses, meats, pickles and preserves, bitter greens, and baguette. What we received was romaine lettuce with dressing, craisins, a Brie and a very thinly sliced amount of cheese (like the Parmesan from a Caesar salad) two types of meat and some thin, bland crackers. In the end it tasted fine, but this was not an 18 dollar plate and was not what was listed on the menu. We asked for confirmation just to be sure we didn’t receive the wrong plate and they assured us that was the charcuterie that has been being served recently. While they did offer to bring it to the kitchen to double check, we declined and just ate it. If you are a charcuterie connoisseur, maybe skip this one this time around.
Unique place. Lot of potential. My experience was bad. It was a concert night, but still no excuse as a I reserved the special barrell room for 2. Intially sat at main bar where we thought we'd grab some drinks and appetizer before our dinner. Kitchen was closed! Place was packed, made no sense. Eventually got to our reserved table. Awesome ambiance and cool room! Although we sat there for almost 5-10 min without anyone paying attention to us. We walked out and settled for nasty arena food. Hartman's ruined our night.
