The meal tasted like it had been reheated. We ordered an 8-ounce sirloin, but what we received was sirloin tip, which was tough and dry. The popover resembled a dinner roll instead of having the light, airy texture expected; it was also hard and dry. This was our first and last visit to this restaurant.
The restaurant had an incomplete menu for Saturday dinner, and the place felt empty and unclean. We decided to leave before ordering any food.
We came here for a date and were surprised to find the place empty at 6:30 on a Saturday. One customer came in while we were eating and sat at the bar, and I overheard our waitress/bartender tell him that the place is usually fairly empty on Saturdays until the bar crowd comes in after dinner. Overall, the food was good. We ordered a burger and a chicken sandwich, and both were cooked perfectly and had great flavor. Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating to some small dietary-based changes.
Stop number three on the Dirty Thirty bar crawl was Epic. I had no idea there were even bars on Elmwood, haha! We didn't stay for too long...
