Esteemed for its authentic Italian cuisine, the restaurant boasts a beautifully renovated space with a cozy yet chic ambiance reminiscent of New York City. Great Italian food! My wife and I almost literally licked our plates clean. All dishes come shareable too so I recommend ordering a bit of this and that. Dishes are a la carte but doesn’t feel like you’re getting cheated at all. Well worth the money. Bonus points for automatic gratuity to pay their staff fairly and help you avoid doing math after a satisfying meal.
Food was great but not worth 200. Portions are extremely small and no sides. For this price I would rather be at San Marco, Sinatra’s, Hutch’s or Lombardos. Great food but WAY over priced for what you get.
I had an absolutely fantastic experience! The staff was incredibly friendly, kind, and honest. Our server, Tom, was exceptional! Every dish we had was delicious, and it might just be one of the best meals we've ever enjoyed. We'll definitely be returning without a doubt. Thank you to the wonderful team at Ditondo!
Wonderful food, beautiful restaurant, great service. The Italian chef Fabio is just amazing and the wife Rita is adorable and so knowledgeable. We loved to have dinner there with friends. Every single plate was awesome. The Capesante crudo and the Pesce Spada were outstanding! I regret to haven't taken pictures. Bravi Rita e Fabio!

An oasis of artfully crafted authentic Italian food, terrific service, and wonderful ambiance. Highly recommend!
Dined as a party of six adults in the summer. I would consider this the best Italian meal in Buffalo. This was our fifth time dining at the restaurant. We brought two couples who had never been and all shared the same lovely experience.Cocktails were seasonal, crisp and delicious. Servers were attentive and knowledgeable. We ordered a bottle of white wine from Sicily, that was featured as a summer special. On a hot Buffalo night, it was a delightful beginning to the evening. All the appetizers were phenomenal. Parmesan puffs are a crowd pleaser, light and airy. The beets were cooked to perfection. The fried squash melted in your mouth. The white anchovies are always a treat, salty goodness that transports you to the Mediterranean. The pastas are handmade, delicate, and appropriately portioned. This is clearly a restaurant that takes pride in their craft. As a family-owned restaurant, they have revitalized the old DiTondos into an upscale Italian experience. If you want a pound of penne smothered in marinara sauce with a parmesan shaker on the table, this is not the restaurant for you. If you want to be transported to Italy from the first sip of your Aperol spritz to the affogato at the end of the meal, you’ve come to the right place.Cheers to the owners, Rita and Fabio, we hope this remains an institution in Buffalo and we can’t wait for our next reservation.
We are fortunate to have DiTondo's in Buffalo. Easy to spend time here enjoying a delicious meal of several courses while sipping wine and taking in the atmosphere with friends. Authentic European Italian.
Really fantastic authentic Italian. Perhaps the best restaurant I've been to in Buffalo. Service was also excellent. Will be back.

Ditondo is like a hidden gem for the most delicious and authentic meal you will experience in Buffalo. If you have been to Italy, you will appreciate the simplicity of the dishes and the quality of the ingredients. The restaurant is well-designed, beautiful, cozy, and still casual. In Buffalo, there is no better place for lunch. The owners are warm and personable, providing a great dining experience. The specials change frequently and the wine selection is amazing.
I had an amazing experience at this restaurant for an authentic Italian lunch! I ordered the focaccia of the day with caramelized onions, nduja, and caciocavallo. It was perfectly baked and seasoned, with a well-balanced flavor that wasn't too salty or overpowering. My companions enjoyed the lasagna bolognese and the beets with burrata and almonds, both of which were delicious. For dessert, we shared Panna Cotta with roasted grapes and a special fried dough dessert called chiacchere coated in powdered sugar. My only criticism is that the portion sizes are on the smaller side considering the prices, but the food is definitely worth coming back for a special and tasty treat!
Related to this facility are Gauner and pay from the buffalo police .. dominic ditondo is a 17-year-old in the nichols school. a hockey player. he was drunk on December 23rd and crashed into my parked car. I was not compensated for the future of the young man. money talks. do not support what seems to be a badly valued establishment.
This is not her father's Ditondo, but I loved the old version. The new location is excellent. Highly recommended.
