I recently dined at the restaurant, and I must say, everything was exceptional—from the quality of the food to the service. The dishes were delicious and met my expectations, and the service was prompt. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was both courteous and friendly. It was a unique and delightful dining experience, and I will definitely return in the near future. Thank you!

We've dined here numerous times now and had take-out. Food is always great! Love the chai: not sweet (though you could add if you prefer . Lassi is delightful. Dal and fragrant rice is so warming. Paneer! I'm a vegetarian, though my husband is not and there is plenty of choices for both of us. This is my neighborhood go-to for comfort food. : Added bonus: walking in, the aromas are mesmerizing!

Always coming here for their food whenever in Buffalo. They specialize in BBQ and their Naans are amazingly tasty.

I love the theming and atmosphere and being served in clay dishes was a really unique experience. Some of the appetizers are hit or miss but the main dishes are really good. I dined with my family and we ordered their chicken samosa (delicious), paani poori (pretty good), beef handi (beef curry with plain white rice) and beef biryani (beef mixed in with seasoned rice) and goat and lamb handi paired with a couple of sodas. The beef was delicious and very soft, great balance of spices and beef. The clay helped to retain a lot of heat, to the point where the curry was still boiling when we received it! The same goes for the goat and lamb handi which were nice and hot when received and were fall off the bone. Overall, it was a very nice and chill experience thought I do wish the lighting was a bit brighter but that is a very small issue. The food is the main thing and it was quite good and that's coming from a South East Asian. They have beautiful cultural art pieces that I was familiar with and very colorful theming. Give them a try!

Nestled in Buffalo, Clay Handi offers an enchanting dining experience showcasing authentic Pakistani flavors. Guests praise its delicious food, vibrant ambiance, and unique clay dishware that enhance the overall experience. While the service received mixed feedback, many noted attentive staff eager to assist with menu choices. The late-night hours cater to tourists seeking late snacks, although cleanliness and hygiene require improvement. Patrons rave about highlights like the chicken sheesh kebabs, fragrant rice, and outstanding chai, making Clay Handi a must-visit for those craving delightful flavors in a warm, inviting setting. A hidden gem worth exploring!.

Yesterday, I had the best meal I have had in months at Clay Handi! The table setting was beautiful and enhanced the experience. The water tasted better when served in a clay cup. The food was exquisite: fragrant rice, delicious main entrees, and tender meat. The family-style dining made the prices more reasonable than expected, with half orders of rice and entrees feeding more than 2 people. The staff were welcoming and took the time to help us navigate the unfamiliar menu. The food and ambiance made me feel like I was on a mini-vacation. I plan on returning as often as possible and would recommend it to anyone looking to explore complex and well-crafted flavors in a unique and charming setting.

This restaurant is worth the trip to Kenmore, whether by car, bike, or bus. The food was exceptional - delicious, homemade, and served by a friendly and knowledgeable waitress who was happy to provide recommendations. I had never tried clay pot food before, and she explained how it enhances the flavors better than traditional servingware. I highly recommend it! We visited on a quiet Monday night. Additionally, they offer delivery through Skip the Dishes for convenience.

I really enjoyed the authentic preparation and presentation of the food at this restaurant. The prices were reasonable, and I don't understand why some people are complaining about them. The staff was friendly and courteous. Overall, everything was excellent. The only things that could have improved the experience were larger tables to accommodate plates, utensils, and food, as there was limited space. Additionally, there were some small bugs flying around.

I never had Pakistani food until our bookclub choose the book 'I Am Malala ' and then ventured into the Clay Handi Restaurant to complete the experience. What an awesome evening. The food was amazing, every bite a new treat and the ambiance enhanced it all. Everything is served in clay which makes the most of the Pakistani spiced dishes and, albeit some of our members were not a fan of hot dishes, there were options to choose from with less heat/and or spice. I will definitely return.

Had an excellent experience at a great price. Food was fantastic and the portions were just right. Our server recognized we weren't well-versed in this type of food, and gave us a full description of the menu (very helpful! . The rest of the staff were attentive and polite.

I recently dined at a Pakistani halal restaurant in Buffalo, NY. While the food wasn't the best I've ever had, considering the location, it was acceptable. It's important to note that Buffalo is close to Toronto where there are numerous Desi Pakistani restaurants, making it hard to compete. The service was excellent, with staff constantly checking on us. The chicken sheesh kebabs were delicious, but the lamb biryani was just okay due to dry lamb pieces. The naans were large but lacked sufficient garlic topping. The handi karahi dish was decent, although it had a bit too much of a tomato base for my taste. The handi claypot concept felt a bit gimmicky, but I appreciate the effort and some of the dishes stood out. The chai was outstanding and shouldn't be missed. Overall, I would give this restaurant a 4-star rating for their effort and the quality of some of their dishes, although the handi dishes were not as impressive.

Found this restaurant on Yelp, TripAdvisor and google must go-to place after Niagara falls so we came here and we found this restaurant beyond our expectations. Staff and management was so cooperative, food was delicious and never forgotten experience, ambiance was good and we really enjoyed.
