It's been updated very well, I've been coming here since I was young, they really put a lot of work into the area. Still not the safest of areas after sunset. B... read more It's been updated very well, I've been coming here since I was young, they really put a lot of work into the area. Still not the safest of areas after sunset. But it is really nice looking now, new buildings, park benches, and rails, great place to watch rowers working on their technique, if you have young children please don't go towards the walk path that leads out into the river it is not safe

Generally, I bike through here on the bike path, but it's got great access to the river for people with mobility issues, as the parking is so close to both the... read more Generally, I bike through here on the bike path, but it's got great access to the river for people with mobility issues, as the parking is so close to both the canal and the river. People fish here all the time, so sometimes they block the bike path or sidewalk, and a lot of the area has no shade, but the views up and down the river are great, and on a hot day, the water makes it pretty comfortable.Picnic area: There's a covered picnic area with several tables.
