Amherst Buffet presents a diverse selection of Chinese and Asian cuisine, highlighted by fresh seafood and delicious hibachi options. While the food quality varies, patrons often commend the reasonable prices and quick service. However, some dishes may lack freshness, and the ambiance could benefit from updates. Despite busy evenings and occasional service hiccups, it's a popular spot for those looking to indulge in a vast buffet experience. This is the best Chinese buffet I've experienced in the USA when it comes to food. The Egg Foo Young was excellent, and the hibachi-grilled dish I had, which included meat, noodles, snow peas, garlic, and teriyaki, was fantastic. The variety of seafood options was impressive as well. I highly recommend this restaurant. The prices for weekday lunch are very reasonable too. On a Friday evening visit, the owner offered me a 10% discount because I'm a US veteran, which was a nice touch.

I believe this is one of the best Chinese buffets in the area. They offer a fantastic variety of dishes to choose from, including delicious Chinese food, fresh clams, oysters, and crab legs. There’s so much to enjoy! It’s definitely worth the price—only $14.99, with a 10% discount for seniors, and the lunch buffet is the same price, minus the seafood options. Overall, it's a great experience!

They over charge for the drinks... other than that best buffet around

Amherst Buffett is a good choice on nights when you want to eat and try some different things or if you are in the mood to eat a lot of food in one sitting. The waitresses are pleasant and the food is pretty fair. Mostly what you would expect from a buffet style meal. The dining room could use an update though and the parking is difficult at times. All in all it’s an ok experience and with the cost of the meal it makes it a good choice.
