A classic corner pizzería near San Telmo, offering pizza "a la piedra", thin crust but filled w cheese and toppings. We had the traditional fugazzeta, which comes w abundant cheese and onions. I've been trying pizzerias in Buenos Aires for the past couple of weeks and El Mazacote is the first that I would not return to. Why? I got a slice of muzzarela and it was: thin crust (surprising to me and salty, quite salty. I...absolutely love Pizza Pirilo (I LOVE Pirilo's fugazza con queso!! at 821 Defensa and am fond very of Pizza Guerrin on Corrientes. La Americana on Corrientes and on Callao is quite good too....
