El Mazacote - Buenos Aires

I had one of the best empanadas I ever tried (and I had quite a lot). My friend had a delicious dessert. When we looked around we saw also very good pizzas (and happy people enjoying them).

The best pizza i've tried in Buenos Aires, and i went to a few other places. The place looks dodgy from the outside. A local took us, otherwise we'd have never gone inside! Order the Muzzarella and a fugazzetta slice!

Super pizza, much better than the touristy Guerrin pizza place. Pizza was too big for the box... free extra pizza!

A classic corner pizzería near San Telmo, offering pizza "a la piedra", thin crust but filled w cheese and toppings. We had the traditional fugazzeta, which comes w abundant cheese and onions. The dough was filled w provolone cheese. Never seen before. It was outstanding. We also had "faina" and cheese w tomato and ham. Superb. I don't think you can go wrong w any of them. Had flan with Dulce de leche for dessert. Busy place, little loud

Nice restaurant outside of the tourist track, just local people in that place that is been there for ever , not much changed but they offer a great pizza, think and very moist and fresh !! Nice people working in there too that make the all experience nice and with the intention to go back soon !! Price very popular
