We were in a bit of a hurry and stopped in for a very quick late lunch and something to drink before our walking tour starting at the gates of the National Congress, just across the street..We found the service excellent, with a server who was anxious to practice English. We had a giant ham and cheese sandwich, which was enough to split and two of the special fruit drinks. What User doesn't like about Borgatta:
Went here for lunch. We only have a limited number of meals in BA and I feel ripped off that I wasted one of those meals here. Service was slow - took 45 mins to get our food. Food wasnt very good. Hamburger bun fell apart, fries were undercooked. They offered to let us pay in USD but would give us a 10/1 exchange rate. The market rate is 13 so this just solidified the terrible experience. This restaurant uses the same pizza recipe you'll find that most such restaurants in Buenos Aires. The pizza is actually very good. But here the service is abysmal. The restaurant was nearly empty when I walked in with at least 4 servers standing around. One gave me an angry look and pointed toward a table. I sat for 10 minutes with no service, then a server from another section came to my table. She took my order. Then the server for my section brought the order, but still seemed very angry. If you're dying for food, & a pizza will do this place will not poison you. But if you even got another 2 minutes of energy to keep looking, skip Borgatta and find somewhere else.
A nice place to eat with a good view of the Plaza del Congreso, especially at night when all lit up.Service was good. I had chicken mozzarella, was fairly plain, but friend had pizza and it was fab. Cheap and nice wine on the menu.
Absolutely abysmal, avoid like the Black Death; if you like bland flavours and watery overcooked pasta, then this is the place for you..pizza didn't look great either.
