The only good thing is the arroz, the rests are average. Steak was disappointing, we ordered wagyu T bone, and it’s not properly cooked. They tried to fix it but still not up to the standard. The service table was nice, but the food doesn’t justify the whole experience. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $4,000–6,000

We ended up having the three main meals at Elena despite my dislike of dining at a hotel. What great decisions we made! ATMOSPHERE: Elena is this Four Seasons' main restaurant located on the lobby level. Decor is a mix of contemporary and French Quarter, with an open view kitchen and seating on two levels. A dry aging refrigerator is showcased up front with a wine cellar on the second floor. LUNCH MENU: Apps, salads, charcuterie, pasta, poultry, meats, fish. FOOD: Sautéed Shrimp Four good sized shrimp were stir fried, sat over a bed of creamy savory red cabbage and topped with French fried onions. Tasty app but the shrimp could've been charred better to give it a more appetizing texture. Elena's Caesar Salad An overly generous amount of smoked trout took the place of anchovies that have a taste similar to salmon. The dressing was creamy, the portion size small. Bitter Leaves My spouse's dish. Chunky cuts of different veggies were tossed in an orange dressing. I didn't have any as I didn't care for any of the ingredients. Risotto Parmegiano Also my spouse's dish. I tried a spoonful of this heavy selection but I'm not a fan of its texture though he enjoyed it. Very rich and creamy. SERVICE: Our female server was friendly but she didn't check on us. A female manager came around checking on guests. BREAKFAST BUFFET: Daily breakfast came included with our room. I have never seen a fresh honey comb station until now. Honey and toast is way better than jelly jam! My mushroom, ham and cheese omelette was fluffy and tasty. Also served on the line were eggs, bacon, potatoes, cereals, fruits and cheeses. Service was very good. Turns out iced tea isn't a standard offering so they had to make it special every day I was there. DINNER MENU: Apps, salads, meats, duck, pastas, fish, pork, desserts. FOOD: T Bone for two Oh. My. Gawd. My spouse and I were in heaven savoring every bite of the filet and New York cuts. Dry aged for 60 days and simply seasoned with just salt, the flavors were amazingly pure. THE best steak I've ever had. Highly recommended! Elena Stuffed Potato Wowed again. The bacon y flavor soaked deep into the spud covered in cheese. THE best baked potato ever and also highly recommended. Grilled Sweetbreads Can this place get any better? Sure they can. Buttery soft goodness in every bite. Holy geezuz. Grilled Octopus The cut of tentacle was steamed to perfect tenderness with a good amount of chewiness. A streak of fried cassava lined the plate for a little bit of starch. SERVICE: Again, very professional. OVERALL: Exquisite steaks, nice breakfast and lunch options. Affordable for being in a hotel. Great service. Highly recommended! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Excellent place. Each dish has its magic although it is simple. It is neither pretentious nor in presentation nor in preparation but worth it. My favorite black rice. The excellent entries: mollejas, provoleta, verdura diver. All 10 points. Extra point for the attention of each of the boys and girls who attended us. If you're going, take your wallet up.

Like in movies. We went Friday 20 hs with previous booking 1 week. And I let go of my hair, dressed as a queen, put on heels I painted and was beautiful... Beautiful classic and elegant style setting. The service is excellent. Attentive staff, friendly and good English. Good wine menu, bottle ordered at ideal temperature. The food was fine. I liked the provoleta with roasted ladyfish (an interesting combination) and the gizzards as a very good entry. I was asked as a kid with seasonal vegetables and roasted squash that was very rich The one who paid asked for a bife's eye and told me it was ok, but a little fried and his fries were very rich. I'll try something else again and some dessert.

It's boring to review a place like that. Because it's just all perfect food, atmosphere, attention, etc. Nothing to score against. The Buñuelos' salita is a 20. Perfect meat. The place is beautiful
