We arrived at 8pm as they had just opened on a Friday. They are only open at night. Of course, we were the 1st patrons. The staff greeted us immediately and we were seated. Menus were quickly provided! They bring bread/butter and a small empanada for each person. Soon we ordered and well before finishing off the bread, our meals arrived. Bife Chorizo was 226p, Lomo was 242p, Creppes de Spinach was 144p, Complete Ensa... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Barbacoa Parrilla:
Came for dinner with the family after reading the reviews. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice and I like the fact it's off the main streets. Unfortunately the food was sub par and the service was very inattentive. Our meat was over cooked and the pasta very bland. Net, nice looking place but food is very average. View all feedback.
This is a traditional restaurant located on a short cobblestone street in a lovely old building. The menu offers (big surprise) a long list of different cuts of meat but with a number of alternatives for non-beef eaters. Barbacoa is smallish so it doesn't generate the kind of interior noise that larger restaurants do which (to my taste) makes for a much more relaxed meal with friends. The word that jumps to mind to describe the feel of the place is "sweet". The menu is pretty standard for traditional Argentine restaurants--the food is simply prepared and very good. Service was excellent with good recommendations to help us make choices. I will definitely go back.
I have visited here once in January 2016. Located on a silent street in Recoleta, you really have to know this place in order to go there. We shared a chorizo and bife de lomo with by fiancee and we weren't disappointed - the chefs really know how to cook with their parilla! If you are looking for a casual, local parilla place, this is your choice.
You might walk past this spot but that would be a mistake, It opens up into a welcoming local parilla. Appears to be family operated with helpful staff and a nice choice of reasonably priced wines and dishes. We like our meats cooked on the rare side and both our steaks came out exactly as we ordered them. Also had a lovely salad. All in all agood meal
This parrilla place is a bit off the beaten track but definitely worth looking for. Food is very decent and given the number of locals visiting the place, it can only have a very decent reputation. It is not the best parrilla we've had but pretty good. Recommendable.
Excellent food, waitress was extremely patient and made great effort to understand my poor Spanish. I just don't rate service 5 stars because dishes were delivered slowly. Anyway Im on holiday, its ok!
