Locality: The city child is located in the Bünder pedestrian area and is easily accessible by traffic. Free parking is available in the area so that the city child is easily accessible on foot. At the time of my visit (November 2019) there was a large construction site, which unfortunately also became noticeable in terms of loudness. The restaurant itself is definitely an impression with its largely glassy design and its round shape. In addition, the restaurant is modern and cozy, with the size also pleasant, so that you can enjoy well and have a very pleasant atmosphere. Service: The only waiter on site made a good job, was friendly and mostly attentive. Drinks and food were delivered quickly. The restaurant was also very clean and well maintained, so you could feel all around. The only manko was that the waiter could only tell a few minutes after the order was received that both ordered dishes (from the weekly card) were not available, as the cook had not arrived due to damage to his car and therefore only simple dishes such as flame cake or burgers could be offered. This information would have been useful beforehand to decide if necessary. Food and drink: The selection on the map is appropriate from diversity, with something for everyone. The weekly card offers an exciting selection of dishes each week, for example with special currys or interesting pasta dishes. The dishes we ordered were not convincing. The flame cake was tastefully convincing only to a limited extent, as the overall taste was quite fad. The burger was disappointed by the fact that the bread was cold and the patty was badly cooked, as it was apparently stopped too early in the cooking process. Here too, spices were missing, so the overall impression was not really convincing. However, I suspect that this was primarily an unfortunate coincidence, but unfortunately it was somewhat disappointed by the visit on site. Conclusion: A place with a beautiful ambience and an exciting weekly map that could not really retrieve its potential during my visit.
