The homepage advertises that families with children can relax here. Unfortunately, this is not true. We have been bathers at the Kurhaus Bültermann for more than 4 years. Today we had to leave the pool after only 15 minutes of swimming because someone complained about our children. They would splash water and be too loud. When we asked whether only children had to be considerate or whether adults should also be considerate of children, we were immediately banned from entering the house. It wasn't even asked whether the complaint was justified. Our objections that we warned our children every time they were too loud and then they behaved much quieter were not responded to at all. The boss told us that he was a choleric and didn't tolerate repeat words in his house. We are deeply outraged by this discriminatory behavior towards our children and find it an absolute disgrace that older bathers (this bath is mainly visited by older people) are apparently given greater importance than children. We would have liked to continue to visit because the sulfur water in the swimming pool was very good for our children's skin. We are now denied this. In addition, our children were repeatedly told by older people that children had no place in this bathroom. The cashier at the entrance also pointed out to a bather that there were already children in the bathroom and to complain if they were too loud.
