Husband had the Red Velvet pancakes and a... read more Lovely Brunch at Cafe Vie, I had the Mushies Greens and added Avocado and vBacon. I also had a Chai Latte Soft drink. Husband had the Red Velvet pancakes and a Decaf Latte. I also bought some Decaf Chai and another Chai to take home to Adelaide. I really liked my dish even though the Avocado vBacon I ordered was remembered bought out after I got the meal, so I got it on the side. My husband enjoyed his pancakes and the ‘cream’ was generous but he said it tasted a bit ‘wholemeal’ which I didn’t mind but he minded enough to comment.. still enjoyed them though! The staff were friendly service was quick. Option to buy other vegan products including Chai’s, pet treats, cheeses cakes/ treats. Venue is wheelchair accessible. My only cons are that it is a bit expensive for what I had. I guess my basis for making vegan food a real destination venue is having a variety of things I can’t easily make at home, which then makes it more value for money. Although i must say for me, it was all really tasty! Also, as we were sitting outside under cover we wished the fans were turned on. I thought maybe because us South Aussies aren’t used to the humidity of QLD, but I did hear other locals mention it too. A few of us were fanning ourselves! If we sat inside, it would’ve been too hot with no air movement. Updated from previous review on 2023-12-08
