I had luck to sit at the most beautiful place on the second floor of the terrace, it was so cozy. The choice of food and drinks is much bigger than I expected, and everything was delicious. Very attentive workers, pleasant atmosphere, the trees and plants are so pretty! View all feedback.
What W W dislikes about Shift Pub:
The food is bad, at most acceptable, especially for the price. Waiting time was 1.5 hours. My steak was 90% fat with a thumbsized piece of meat, no seasoning whatsoever, not even salt. Drinks are actually good, but slightly overpriced. The only good part if the staff, everyone was super nice. If the food was at least mediocre, I would've considered giving it another try. Lots of options to eat and drink. The food was delicious as always and the waiter really nice and prompt. We stayed inside as outside was too hot. They have a small terrace in front if you are a smoker. Price per person: lei 80–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
This restaurant was recommended by a Romanian friend, but we had very bad service. Our server was out front smoking cigarettes most of the time we were there. Our food would have been very good if it had been served when it was ready but we waited almost an hour and our meals had clearly been warmed up again in a microwave. I had the shrimp pasta with truffle sauce and it had a film over it from being microwaved. My husband’s meatballs were overheated and dry while the mashed potatoes were cold. The cocktails were great and the terrace was lovely, but it was unfortunate that our meals were spoiled by the server’s negligence. Price per person: lei 140–160 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

I really liked the shady courtyard perfect in a hot summer day. The beef pasta and the cold beer were the perfect match. The portions are really big.
Loved it here! Food portions are huge and the food is very tasty. We had a really nice and funny waiter that made our night even better. Would definitely recommend this place and return. They are really paying attention to details, something that is very rare these days. Try the gin! :
A good place to stop by and get a drink with your friends. The pub offers a big variety of cocktails and other alcoholic drinks. It also serves huge servings of tasty food.
Nice terrace and quick service. I had the fish and chips but there is nothing special about this dish the fries were seasoned but with little to no taste and the fish was ok, a bit crunchy and too fried. The pasta dishes looked tastier and seem to be a better choice.
One of my favourite places to dine in Bucharest. I love the schnitzel and they also have very good pasta and salads. I really like the fact that the portions are very large so it's hard to leave Shift and still feel hungry. The place is always full so you should make a reservation.
